Calm Pacific ocean horizon at first light
Sea for the Soul · A retreat for clinicians

A day where nothing
is asked of you.

You have spent your career being the one who holds. For one day at the ocean, you are the one who is held.

Sea for the Soul is an immersive day for nurses, clinicians, and healthcare leaders. There is no curriculum to complete and nothing to produce. There is water, stillness, food, and company — and a structure, built by a nurse, that lets you put something down.

The ocean is not a backdrop. It is a participant. The water does part of the work that words cannot.

The arc

Seven movements.
One day.

— i —

Arrive

Welcome, settle, breathe. A personalized bag, a lavender roll, a gratitude stone, refreshments, ocean, and gentle music.

— ii —

Release

Gentle movement, breathwork, and the walk toward the water. Release rather than solve.

— iii —

Be Still

Twenty minutes. No journaling, no discussion, no assignment, no requirement to think. Sit. Breathe. Listen. Receive.

— iv —

Reconnect

Gentle re-entry. Small-group connection, conversation, laughter, shared experience.

— v —

Receive

Food, beauty, rest, connection, ocean — and permission to be cared for.

— vi —

Remember

The question: Who am I? And the answer: you don't become worthy, you remember that you are.

— vii —

Pray

Closing reflection, optional prayer, ocean, sunset when possible. Then silence.

The twenty minutes
ask nothing.

Clinicians arrive braced for another assignment. Be Still is twenty minutes with no journaling, no discussion, no prompt, no requirement to think. Sit. Breathe. Listen. Receive. That is the whole instruction — because the distinctive thing this retreat does is let you stop producing.

What you take home

Designed, not assembled.

  • A personalized white bag
  • A lavender roll
  • Rose quartz engraved GRATITUDE
  • A mantra card to keep
Two paths

A seat, or a team.

An individual clinician can request a seat. A health system or foundation can commission a retreat for a team. Both routes end at the same conversation. Dates and pricing are shared when a day is confirmed — not before.

Prayer in the closing movement is optional. It is offered, never imposed.
